These are my new book shelves in my classroom.  I made them out of plastic rain gutters.  I also put colors on each shelf to go with the Accelerated Reading level of the books.  They have been awesome for my students to use as there is plenty of room for all to look.....it has eliminated the library line.  YEAH!

My 2nd Grade students had an awesome time building a simple model that mimics the function of an animal in dispersing seeds or pollinating plants.  (Next Generation Science Standards 2.LS2-2).   We also tied some writing into this science project!  Here are a few examples of what my students did!  They had so much fun!!!

This is the first post of my new blog!!  I am excited to have a fresh new look for my Helps4Teachers business!  This year I designed borders for my classroom.  I really like the way they turned out.  I have shared them below!  They are also sold at my TPT store.
